"Once Upon a Winter's Morn" (from the upcoming 3rd album "The Way It Is" releasing Late 2023) is once again a huge departure for me as a composer. Setting aside my jazz writing for a bit on this one, it is a love theme scored for traditional orchestra. In fact, the original title was "Love Theme in Search of a Movie," as it was written in the style of a film score.
